The Placement Cell acts as a platform that bridges the various companies at the state and national levels and the college students. The cell aids in organising campus recruitment drives across multiple sectors. It liaisons with the companies for internship opportunities for the students. In addition, counselling is offered to the students regarding placements. It also organises leadership and training programmes regularly.

Career Guidance Bureau and Placement cell is functioning in the college for the welfare of the students. Students are given extensive guidance in choosing their careers. Our placement cell has a good rapport with leading corporate firms and MNCs. Leading corporate firms conduct campus interviews for the final year students.

OBJECTIVES

✓ Assist students in developing their academic and career interests and short and long-term goals through individual counselling and group discussion.

✓ Assist students in the development and implement successful job search strategies.

✓ Work with faculty members, department heads and administration to integrate career planning with academic curriculum.

✓ Empower students with lifelong career decision-making skills.

✓ Providing resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.

✓ Act as an interface among students, alumni, and the employment community.

✓ Awareness in the students regarding future career options.

✓ Assisting different companies in campus placement drives for recruitment of students.

✓ Organising open Mega job fairs annually where our students and other college students participate in bulk.

✓ Arranging guest lectures of industry experts in technical/non-technical dept from time to time. As per requirement.

✓ Mandatory industrial visits for B.Tech all streams and MBA students in renowned companies, Manufacturing plants and various corporate sectors.

✓ Co-coordinating summer training/internship programme.

✓ Bridging gap between Industry and Academia.

Term: The term of the nominated members shall be three years.

Meeting: The PLC shall meet at least twice a year or when necessary.
