Value added Programs
The students are exposed to various soft skill developments. To develop the soft skills of the students, communication workshops, personality development programmes, leadership lectures etc are arranged on regular basis. The CIMAT takes care of all round development of the students by providing several opportunities to express their talents in various fields.To supplement university courses and to meet the industry requirements several value adding courses are arranged, to develop student's skill and personality. CIMAT has organized various value adding programs. Under this eminent personalities have visited our campus and enlightened our students. The following personalities who recently visited our campus.
Book Review Program
Every week a class is expected to conduct at least one review programme. In this books on general management as well as self-development are prescribed to the students. Later on, they present their views on the book.
Article Reviews
Articles that carry high importance and values are discussed with the students. Similarly the students are motivated to subscribe articles to journals.
News Unbeat
International, National as well as regional news bits are discussed with the students. This is done as an exclusive programme.
Industrial Visit
Industrial Visits are arranged for both the courses to various places in the country. Recently the students visited New Delhi, Agra, Punjab, Amritsar, Jaipur and Wagah. They visited many industries; to name a few, Maruti Udyog, Pricol, Atul Industries, Ashok Leyland,etc
Knowledge Exchange
CIMAT acts as a platform for knowledge exchange among the practicing Managers, leading management consultants outstanding educationalists, eminent scholars and the students in management as well as in information technology fields. Many guest lectures and group discussions are arranged for the students' interaction with visiting professionals and entrepreneurs.
Yoga
As an integral part of the college co-curricular activities, Yoga is administered to all students. They are advised to take up yoga classes during all Saturdays of their first semester, as CIMAT firmly believes in the dictum "Sound Mind in a Sound Body".
Corporate dossier
The corporate world is thrown open to the students of CIMAT. Every now and then students get trained on doing SWOT Analysis of the performance of the company. Experts are invited to the campus to explain management practices in leading companies. Recently Mr. Anantha Raman, Management Consultant conducted a programme for the management students on TATA Group of Companies.
