Dr. K. Ramamurthi, Principal CIMAT, has 10 years of experience in Industry and more than 14 years of experience in Teaching. He holds an M.B.A., M.Com and Ph.D under Bharathiar University. He also has completed his B.L from Bharathiar university and B.Ed from Madras University. With this combination of the above he has brought a unique perspective to CIMAT. His areas of specialization are Finance and Accounting, Investment Management and Research Methods.

He is the visiting faculty for various Institutes like, Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India, Coimbatore Chapters and various universities. He has 5 publications in National Journals. He has presented 6 papers in National level and Attended 50 National and International seminars, conferences, symposiums and workshops.

Dr. K. Ramamurthi is the Chairman for Board of Studies & Academic Council, Coimbatore Institute of Management And Technology and Member Secretary of Governing Council for Coimbatore Institute of Management And Technology(CIMAT).

His expertise and experience attracted him to serve as Member of Senate, Bharathiar University, Member, Coimbatore Management Association and also serves as a Member in Computer Society of India. He is a member of various committees in many autonomous colleges.
