The college has Departmental Associations with a view to encouraging the students to face real life situations, to develop group dynamics, talent, personality and leadership. The Secretary of the College is the Chief Patron of the Associations. The Principal is the Patron and a student representative from final year is the Chairman of the Association. A second year student is the Secretary and the Joint Secretary is from the first year. Student office bearers of the Associations and class representatives are nominated on the basis of academic merit only.
